Many attorneys are unaware that the actions of their investigators could get them "grieved" before a grievance board, required to cease representation on a case, and even come up on grievance charges.  That would mean that the attorney, in Colorado, could never become a judge!

If an investigator (like Hoffman International Investigations or one of the many other PIs world-wide) does not abide by the Attorney's Rules of Professional Conduct, the attorney who ordered the investigation is responsible!  Basically this means the investigator is not permitted to do anything that the attorney is not permitted to do, such as lie to a subject, record a phone call without permission, etc.
